Joshua Sylvae, PhD, is a licensed marriage and family therapist from the Cascadian bioregion (the Pacific Northwest of the United States). He teaches the SE Professional Training for Somatic Experiencing International, facilitates trainings for Peter Levine’s Ergos Institute of Somatic Education, and leads private workshops and classes. He has completed trainings with the Center for Psychedelic Therapies & Research and the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies. He recently founded (r)evolve Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organized to educate the public about human origins. He is a musician, a lover of nature, and is dedicated to his relationships with family and the communities he’s a part of. Currently, Joshua is creating a podcast to highlight the work of (r)evolve, is writing on multiple topics (including psychedelic-assisted therapy), and continuing to teach clinicians around the world in somatics, trauma healing, and embodied approaches to work with psychedelics.
